Age-based & Broodmare Worming Programs
Rotational Worming Programs based on the age or the horse or use. Each of these life stages requires a personalised program as:
- Foals have do not have a natural immunity to worms and need regular support with wormers as they mature and develop this immunity in order to meet their potential
- Broodmares need to be wormed at certain times to maximise foetal development and reduce the risk of passing on worms to the foal in milk
- Young horses are also at risk as their physical development continues.
- Senior horses can experience declines in immunity, have a harder time maintaining body weight and have a notably harder time digesting feed
